The La Jara Farmers Market is in its fourth year and running smoothly. We have had some exciting performances from local musicians as well as wonderful products from local vendors. Last week, Lowdead performed some awesome hard rock songs and Patsy Gomez and Paul Arellano played some very moving spiritual songs. The musical groups brought in good crowds of people who really enjoyed the afternoon. The Snowy River Animal Rescue was at the market with pony rides and a petting zoo to raise money for their rescue animals. Our new location by the La Jara Town Hall is working out very well and we greatly appreciate the support we have received from the town.
Los Cancioneros Del Valle will perform this Friday, the 26th of August. Sage Larsen and Atomic Pork will close the market on the 2nd of September.
Come join us for this week’s market, Friday August 26th from 3-7pm. We are located in downtown La Jara by the Town Hall. Only two markets left, so come enjoy the fun before the close of our season on September 2nd.
